This committee works to coordinate, provide and promote Pro Bono activities in which volunteers of the Palmetto Paralegal Association can assist lawyers in providing legal services or promoting the legal profession in the Columbia area.

• POLICY COMMITTEE

Establishes communication with local, state and national bar associations, monitors bills introduced at the state level that might effect the paralegal profession and apprise members of pending and passed legislation in other states.

Maintains a job notification system for PPA members, prepares/evaluates employment surveys and seeks means to encourage prospective employers to advertise job openings through the EIC.
