History and Commitment

The Western Massachusetts Paralegal Association, Inc., ("WMPA") was incorporated in 1990 by a group

of dedicated professionals who wanted to further expand the paralegal profession in the Western

Massachusetts area. Today, WMPA is a thriving non-profit organization that is composed of paralegals

working in all areas of law in the Western Massachusetts area.

Goals

The goals of WMPA are:

 To promote high professional and ethical standards in the education, training and employment of paralegals;

 To serve as a source of educational information for members, the legal community and the general public;

 To provide opportunities for the mutual association of paralegals and paralegal students to promote the general interests of paralegals.
